I wanted to see if you would be willing to send out info to your artists about Fusion 2009? We have this fundraiser each year for the Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation March 28th, 2009.
We are looking for people to show and sell their work at this event. We would love to have anyone from your group.
We are trying to get the word out early so artists will have enough time to make a collection to sell.
We are offering a 4'x 4' x 8' tall corner for each person. If you can help, I have attached show info and some pics of the booths.
Its seems that your group is about having a space to get the word out about local art and a place to see/purchase it. Since our event is only one night, I do not see it as competition to your group but as a compliment for you to show and make some money. Everyone knows this has been a bad year and every opportunity to get the word out is imperative.
Please let me know what you think and if you have any ideas on how to promote it. I have posted on Craig list and will post Jan 1 on Art talk.
